Urban Woodworks is MAKKEN's in-house manufacturing division — producing bespoke furniture, architectural joinery, custom kitchens, doors, and decorative woodwork from our own production facility.
WHO WE ARE
A PRODUCTION FACILITY, NOT JUST A WORKSHOP.
Urban Woodworks operates from a fully equipped production facility with CNC routing, edge banding, spray finishing, and upholstery capabilities. We design and manufacture every piece in-house — no outsourcing, no middlemen, no compromises on quality or lead time.
As part of MAKKEN GROUP, our production is directly integrated with the design and construction teams. Drawings come from Maken In Design, dimensions are confirmed on site by our construction crews, and finished pieces are installed by our own teams. The result is woodwork that fits perfectly — because it was designed, built, and installed by the same group.

ARCHITECTURAL JOINERY
Built-in joinery that becomes part of the architecture — wall panelling, cladding, reception desks, feature walls, and bespoke millwork. We work from the interior designer's drawings and produce joinery that integrates seamlessly with the structure and finishes around it.

CUSTOM KITCHENS
Fully bespoke kitchen cabinetry designed around the space, the client, and the appliances. We produce carcasses, doors, and drawers in-house, apply lacquer or veneer finishes in our spray booth, and install with precision — including appliance integration and worktop templating.

Solid and engineered timber doors, pivot doors, sliding systems, and full door sets including frames, architraves, and ironmongery coordination. We manufacture to any size, profile, and finish — including fire-rated and acoustic-rated assemblies where required.
